Prince William Biography From Aol:

HRH Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was born on June 21, 1982 at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, in London. Wills was the first future king to be born at hospital. When he was three years old, William attended Mrs. Mynor's Nursery School. Two years later he was enrolled at Wetherby School in London. In 1990, he was transferred to Ludgrove School where he remained until 1995. William attended Eton College at Windsor from 1995-2000. While at Eton, William had tea and a chat about the monarchy with the Queen every Sunday at Windsor Castle, just a short distance away. William will start a four year course for a degree in art history in the autumn of 2001 at St. Andrew's University in Scotland.

Wills is extremely close and protective of his brother Prince Harry, who attends Eton. Wills has a smile that is reminiscent of his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. Sadly, Prince William had to deal with the tragic loss of his mother in front of the entire world. No one who watched Diana's funeral will forget the sad and grieving faces of the princes as they followed their mother's coffin to Westminster Abbey. The princes showed incredible strength and fortitude; their courage set an example for people all over the world. William was said to have asked for, and received, his mother's famous diamond and sapphire engagement ring.

It has been reported that Prince William does not wish to inherit the throne. Nevertheless, he will be crowned William V someday. As the title of a 1997 book about the prince proclaimed, he is "The Boy Who Will Be King."
